The Roca Blanca Trade School

The difficulties that abound within the Oaxacan economy often make life very difficult for graduating Bible students. The Roca Blanca Trade School comes alongside of the Victory Bible Institute to equip our students with tent-making skills through various trade training programs. As the graduates are sent out into the villages and nations, to which they have been called to minister, they will have been given great opportunities and abilities to become financially sustainable in order to care for their families, uphold their ministries and rub shoulders with the community through applying their trade. Students are given the opportunity to choose a trade direction that interests them, and to focus on this training over a three-year period.

The following trades are taught at our trade school depending on the availability of instructors and volunteers:

Sewing – Machine Sewing, Embroidery, Hand Sewing, etc.
Multimedia – Videography, Website Design, Photography, etc.
International Cooking
First Responder Medical Training (1^st Year Only)
Welding – Arc, MIG, Plasma, Oxy/Acetylene, etc.
Carpentry – Furniture, Cabinetry, Spray Varnishing, etc.
Handyman – Electrical, Plumbing, Air-Conditioning, Construction, etc.

In the near future, we desire to add:

Cosmetology
Auto Mechanics
Aluminum Doors and Windows
Certified Nursing Program

You don’t need to be a retired tradesman to help us train up the next generation! Maybe you love to cook, sew, or are a “do-it-yourselfer.” We need you to come and share your valuable experience with our students! Maybe you could teach some favorite dishes in our cooking workshop, or join us in a special work project. Let us help you find a place to offer your 2 fish and 5 loaves, to advance and expand the kingdom of God.

Donate tools or materials to help us in our workshops.
