We are deeply grateful to God for allowing us to welcome a new generation of disciples. They will be trained and subsequently sent to the mission field to fulfill the mandate of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).
On Monday, August 31 of this year, we welcomed 241 disciples to our facilities across various programs: Multigrade, High School, Spanish School, House of Worship and Prophetic Music, Bible School, and Trade School. Additionally, we welcomed 191 staff members serving in the 17 departments operating at this Mission Base.
With God’s help and the support of those who have joined the vision, we have been training disciples since 1994. Thirty-one classes have graduated; currently, there are 83 churches led by our graduates, and more than 100 alumni are serving on the Roca Blanca Mission Base team, helping to train the next generation of disciples.
We thank God and every person who has joined this vision over the years!
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED IN JESUS’ FINAL COMMAND TO MAKE DISCIPLES?
ADOPT A DISCIPLE!
Most of our disciples come from impoverished indigenous communities in the mountainous regions of Oaxaca. Consequently, covering the full costs of their training is difficult for them. Disciples pay a tuition fee of $250 dollars a month, which only covers about 1/2 the costs of each disciple. Financial sponsorship is vital during this crucial period of transformation and training.
Adopting a disciple allows you to connect closely with them through letters, photos, and videos. You can build a personal relationship with your disciple and remain involved even after they graduate and are sent to their mission field.
Becoming an “Adopt A Disciple Partner” is a very special and unique way to be a part of the vision of Roca Blanca Missions Base. At the heart of the mission of the base is the discipleship and training of students. We have many different areas of ministry that impact the people of Oaxaca and beyond, but the training and sending out of our graduates to plant churches and evangelize the people of Oaxaca and beyond is powerful. We ask you to partner with the disciple at a level that works for you and help change a life, change a nation, and change the world.
Adopt A Disciple
The intense discipleship, education, and training received by the students in all of our schools prepare each student to become an effective witnesses for Christ. When you Adopt A Disciple you help provide that training.
