The Roca Blanca Trade School is in the middle of its second year of operation here at the Mission Base. This year we are instructing around 70 Bible students in technical arts. We are offering, Welding, Carpentry, Culinary Training, Music, and a Sewing Workshop. It has been an incredible thing to be able to see a student, who has no skills in a subject, advance to the point of bringing to fruition what they have pictured in their mind, planned on paper, and create it with their own hands.
Our staff, in less than 2 years, has grown to over 15 members. This includes 7 nationals and 8 foreign missionaries. We love the fact that the Lord has built such a great team made up of almost ½ nationals and ½ missionaries!
On February 21, 2022, we will break ground for our new “Knowledge and Learning Center”. This new facility will add 7 more classrooms, along with 3 new storefront business. The theme that the Lord has given me for this project is, “TOGETHER”. We believe that everything in the Kingdom moves in and through unity. One body… moving together… to advance the work of the Lord. The 76 churches that are associated with the Roca Blanca Mission Base can see the future vision of Trade School and are excited to be a part of advancing this work. When a Christian can see “the vision and the mission”, an ACTIVATED FAITH is not far behind. A faith that is activated engages the Christian right into the middle of the activity where the Lord is working. We pray friend that you have an “active faith” today.
