There has been lots of activity in short-term missions as we pursue God’s purposes for the people of Oaxaca, Mexico, and the world.

Roca Blanca has received 18 teams in 2023, as well as individual ministers. We already have 17 teams programmed for 2024! We are always excited to get to know teams, plan activities, and ultimately see what the Lord does during our time together working for the Kingdom.

One of our favorite parts of planning team trips is discovering who is coming and working out how they can serve. There is always something to do here at Roca Blanca… a work project, medical outreach, kids ministry, food distribution, school support, Trade School support, ministry training – you name it, we have a place for you to use your gifts!

One highlight from 2023 (and there are many!) is our time with Dr. Denise Roddy and her team from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who came in February to serve in the clinic with an eye care outreach. She saw over 100 patients checking eye health and prescribing glasses, drops, and caring for people. All the base students as well as many people from our local town and surrounding communities came and were cared for. The team handed out many pairs of donated glasses and shared the love of Jesus practically and through prayer. It was an incredible blessing!

We already have lots of service projects set up for next year, including building and maintenance projects around the base, children’s events, medical outreach, and more. We’re so thankful for all that the Lord is doing, and for connecting teams with what He is doing at Roca Blanca.
