Hello, we are René and Vicky from Casa Hogar.

We currently have 14 children; 4 children ages 3 to 12 years old, 6 teenagers and 4 young people. The children and teenagers attend the Roca Blanca Multigrade School, which is our K-12 Christian bilingual school here at the Base. Marco is studying in the Victory High School, which is the Mission Base’s all Spanish, Youth Discipleship high school. Luis and Diana are in Bible School, Irlanda is in the university studying medicine and Belen is in the university studying physical therapy and cosmetology.

My wife Vicky and I are taking some classes in Second Year Bible School to refresh our lives as leaders, but also to better prepare us to minister to the children that we have in our care. Up to this point we have seen the faithfulness of God with each one of them. God is making us part of the transformation in their lives. We have seen notable changes in each one and we know that the one who began the good work will perfect it (Philippians 1:6).

Please pray with us that more children will be added to our family in the fulfillment of his word that says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their destress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27
